When you start your Spotify for the first time ever, it pops a notification that automatically opens the app at Mac startup. Stop Spotify from opening on startup
There are many methods pr ways by which you can stop Spotify from opening on startup on mac here are some methods as given below :
1. Firstly you have to open your Spotify app, and then you can see an arrow icon in the right top of the corner. Click on the arrow icon you can see an option popped up, Then select the setting option as shown in the picture given below.
2. And then you have to scroll down and find the option “Startup and Window Behaviour” And after that select NO next to the (Open Spotify automatically after you log into the computer.)

1. First, go to the Menu bar → click the Apple icon → select System Preferences → Users & Groups →switch to the Login Items tab. There will appear a list of items which open automatically when you log in. Unmark the Spotify and it will not be launched when you switch on your computer as shown in the given picture below.
2. Open App Cleaner & Uninstaller and go to the Startup program tab. Find the Spotify login item in the Login item section and remove it. As shown in the given picture below :
